Robin is in his first year with the PrairieThunder after playing at Oklahoma City in the CHL last season where he was a teammate with fellow Bloomington newcomer Justin Sawyer. He is in his eight season at the pro level and has been on teams that have qualified for the playoffs seven times.
He spent the bulk of his career in the ECHL where he began his career with the South Carolina Stingrays in 2002-03. Robin played with the Stingrays for four years and had brief stints with the Worchester IceCats (12 games) and the Hershey Bears (3 games) in the AHL.
Robin played part of the 2006-07 season with the Manchester Phoenix of the EIHL before heading to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL. He played with the Salmon Kings for two years before landing in Oklahoma City last year.
During his seven-year pro career, Robin has played in 388 games with 66 goals and 80 assists for 146 points. He’s also one of the better enforcers on the ice, having logged 1,405 minutes in penalties. In 23 playoff games, he has two goals and four assists for six points and 44 penalty minutes.
