Biography
Rick was obtained in a trade with Flint on Jan. 29 for future considerations. He began his pro career last season with Fort Wayne and helped the Komets to the IHL Turner Cup by scoring eight points on two goals and six assists in 11 games.
Rick finished second in the voting for the IHL Rookie of the Year and was a member of the league’s all-rookie team. He scored 55 points on 23 goals and 32 assists in 75 games with 101 penalty minutes. He began this season with the Komets before being waived after 23 games. He had one goal and five assists for six points.
