Jamie was obtained in a trade with Port Huron just before the season began. He spent the first two years of his professional career with Port Huron and was named to the league’s all-rookie team in 2007-08. He also helped the IceHawks to playoff appearances both seasons.
During his rookie year Jamie scored 70 points on 30 goals and 40 assists in 74 games. He also had nine points on two goals and seven assists in 12 playoff games as the IceHawks lost to Fort Wayne in the seventh and deciding game of the championship series.
Last season Jamie was the eighth-leading scorer in the league and third on the IceHawks with 80 points on 28 goals and 52 assists in 73 games. In six playoff games, he had one assist. Jamie has played two games in the AHL with the Rockford IceHogs with his first game being his fondest hockey memory.
Jamie was a four-year letterman at Providence College where he earned a degree in marketing.
