Donation Requests

The Bloomington PrairieThunder is excited to be a part of the Bloomington/Normal community and gives consideration to all legitimate donation requests that are made. For tax purposes it is REQUIRED that each and every donation request be made to Allison Gronski and specific guidelines be followed:

• All requests MUST be submitted, in writing, on the requestor’s official organization letterhead via mail or fax.
• Organizations making the request MUST be non-profit and tax-exempt, including schools and churches.
• All requests MUST be accompanied by a COMPLETED Donation Request Form. CLICK HERE to download and print the official form.
• Requests for fundraisers to benefit an individual or family are generally not honored.
• All requests MUST be received no less than four (4) weeks in advance.
• To be supportive of the community overall, organizations should make no more than one request per year.
• Requests for monetary donations will absolutely NOT be accepted.

NOTE: Submitting a complete request does not guarantee a donation, as donations are dependent on a variety of factors.

The PrairieThunder has contrtibuted over $100,000 to charitable organizations in cash, tickets, merchandise, in-house auctions, raffles and other activities. A sampling of groups that benefited from such donations include Special Olympics, United Way, Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Feed the Hungry Canned Food drive.
